Wife & I Took One Bite, And New We Made A Mistake.
Awful Food Was Afraid To Eat Anymore.
Got Up To Leave And Owner Tried To Make Us Pay For 1 Buffet Instead Of 2 We Refused To Pay For Any Food.
Took 1 Bite, Are You Sirius? The Lady At The Register Told Us It Was Ok To Just Leave. As We Were Leaving The Owner Came Outside And Made Us Come Back In To Pay.
Again I Refused To Pay For Food, Ask Her To Call Police.
Then Finally She Made Us Pay For Our Drinks That We Only Drank Enough To Chase Down That Nasty Taste Of The Bite Of Food We Eat Wife & I Took One Bite, And New We Made A Mistake.

This is not the China Garden Menu for Sidney OH. They have a pretty traditional Chinese menu and most who come here eat the buffet. As with most buffets, if you want really fresh food, get there during traditional lunch and dinner hours. But, they will get you fresh food during the off hours, if you ask. They also are very good about helping people with food allergies or sensitivities. Just ask. There is usually at least one person there who speaks good English. I know because I inspect there.

We went to the China Garden here in Sidney tonight. The food was awful and you could tell it was out for a long time. We did our best in finding the good food and leave full. The rice was crusty, most of the chicken was hard as a rock. The Chinese bread was a rock and alot of the cold items weren't even cold. When we got our bill it was 30 dollars. It felt wrong to have to pay 30 dollars for old, crusty food. Christian asked the owner if we could just pay lunch price instead of dinner. Which is 6.99 not 9.69 We will still pay for evan and our drinks. But it would be a nice gesture from the owner. The owner stated the food was fine. Christian took him a chicken nugget that was hard, the owner took a bite and spit it right back out. The owner stated he did not care if its bad, we still have to pay full price. He stated he didn't care if we came back, he didn't need our business. He doesn't care what customers think, they've been their for 21 years and he will always have customers. We didn't try to leave with out paying. They were slow and we understand there not going to make a whole buffet of fresh food just to throw out. we just wanted him to acknowledge the food was far from fresh tonight. Instead we were treated with disrespect and was told if we didn't like it, call the cops. I believe it's time for business's to get back to good customer service. To actually caring for their customers. Please join us in boycotting this place for at least a month or two. It's time to send business's the message, it doesn't matter how long you've been in business, you need US to stay. Please pass this around to everyone you know in Sidney. I say we show them what customers CAN do

I looked at the on line menu when I called to order I was told they don't have an on line menu an every price on the menu was 1.50 to 4.00 higher than listed
