In Southern Illinois, a popular activity is Jeeping, which my friends Beth and Nathan introduced my boyfriend and me to in their hometown across the river. Despite initial apprehensions, when we arrived at the Fountain Inn, we felt at ease and ready for the adventure. The Fountain Inn's unassuming charm and recent renovations made it a welcoming spot for locals, offering a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy a drink and live music, making the drive from Soulard well worth it for a relaxing mini-day trip.
