I live out of town and work here in Lima. I have been to many chinese food establishments. I have been to really crapy ones and really good ones. by far the China Star on Shawnee Road is one of the best I have ever eaten at and I will be a return customer over and over again!! No doubt!

Best Chinese in Lima. I am from a big city, and Lima doesn't have many to choose from. These people are great, and they treat you very respectfully. Large portion sizes, Big Vegetables in entrees. Great prices.

One of our favorite places to eat Chinese! It is run by a Chinese family....and they treat us like family. Our son even wanted his graduation party food to come from China Star! So we did and got many compliments on it. We're going there again tomorrow!

Poor service. I actually saw the cook dilute the sauce with tap water. At first, I thought nothing of it until I got home and the sauce from the Hunan chicken entree I ordered literally ran off like tap water! The service you get has everything to... The service you get has everything to do with who you are (please read between the lines for this). Unfortunately, not everyone will testify to good service at this place if it even exists here. It is sad that good Chinese food with friendly service is sorely lacking in Lima, OH.
