Visiting this area for the first time, I had to try the Lake Erie perch, and the perch sandwich was a fantastic choice-the fish was perfectly seasoned, allowing the delicate flavor to shine without being overwhelmed by batter or salt. The cherry pie, which I was lucky to find despite it not being listed that day, stood out with its simple, tart cherries and just the right amount of sweetness, making it one of the best pies I've ever enjoyed. The diner has a cozy, old-school vibe with friendly staff, generous portions, and a diverse menu that keeps me coming back whenever I'm nearby.

During my first visit to this area, I made sure to try the Lake Erie perch. Despite not being very hungry, the waiter kindly suggested the perch sandwich instead of the platter, which turned out to be a great choice. I appreciated the simplicity of the unadorned perch, allowing the delicate flavor to shine without overpowering seasonings. The overall experience was delightful, and I look forward to returning if I find myself in Lorain again.

Chris and Delores are the nicest people you will ever meet! The food is always great, the portions are large, and the price is always right!

I have been to this restaurant 4 times and now, and I love it more each time. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. I am a large man and their portions fill me up. I would rather go here than anyplace else in Lorain County. Try it and you will not be sorry.
