I think the prices are reasonable, the service was good and the food was above-average. Nice family restaurant.

I enjoy eating at Tip Top; Hi have two small complaints. The Coffee is watered down and their Hamburger and Fries ($2.99 Special) is misleading. The meal IS $2.99 ONLY IF you buy a beverage. So the meal with a soft drink is actually $6.00+
Other than that I enjoy dinning there.

A friend and I chose this place using an Entertainment coupon. It was the first time either of us had dined here. We should have turned around after seeing the broken blinds in the window, but we went in for a late lunch. Disgusting and flavorless doesn't even begin to describe the food at this place. We ordered the sauerkraut balls with ranch for an appetizer. They were burnt, gritty, flavorless and tasted like you'd imagine wet sawdust would taste. They did take them off our bill when I mentioned how horrible they were. I got a side salad which had wilted lettuce and my friend ordered a cup of the seafood chowder which had a dark pink tinge of color to it. She said it was gummy and gross. I ordered the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and she got the beef tips with noodles. I tried her beef tips, and the meat was super tough with tasteless sauce. My mashed potatoes with gravy were good - real chunks of potato in there, but the meatloaf looked like road kill and had no flavor except for the tangy ketchup flavored red stuff on top they call sauce. Service was slow even though there were only a handful of other tables occupied. Afterward, my friend and I both felt ill. I had a queasy stomach feeling and she felt really bad. Needless to say I wouldn't recommend this place, will never return and will deter others from eating here. I don't know how they stay in business quite frankly.
