The food at Dotsons is consistently delicious, featuring homemade dishes like fried chicken, creamy mac-n-cheese, and no-bake cookies, all served with friendly, attentive service in a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, and the quality and care put into each meal make it feel like dining at a family home, which keeps me coming back every time I visit New Lexington.

Dodson's in New Lexington, Ohio offers delicious homemade food, friendly service, and fair prices. The chicken is fried fresh, the bacon cheeseburger is fantastic, and the mac-n-cheese is creamy. The half order of biscuits and gravy is a must-try appetizer - it's worth it!

Was recommended to me as "home cooked food" and a little maw and paw place. Absolutely NOT the case. We tried several items and not a single thing was of home cooked quality. They use Chesters chicken and that's gas station quality chicken. Potatoes are instant and gross. Gravy was definitely not fresh. Green beans lacked any seasoning. Pizza dough tasted old with bland sauce. Toppings were sparse. Iced tea was good but it is hard to mess up tea. Very disappointed with the food and the price. Sadly I have had better food in a hospital and that is institutional based food.

I ordered a medium lizard(gizzard&liver) and let me tell you, it's not worth your money. I literally got four livers and 10 gizzards 7.50. I can buy a whole package of liver and gizzards for that price. But if you don't want to cook at home. Go to Lees chicken in Newark, well worth the drive to get the amount of food you deserve at that price.
