One of the best Gyros I've had is located about 40 minutes away from Sandusky, offering a generous protein portion and fresh, delicious toppings - especially the onions. The Gyro experience at George's is a harmonious blend of flavors, temperatures, and consistency that keeps me coming back for more.

what a disgusting dump. It was hotter inside the un-airconditioned building than it was outside in the 90 degree July heat. The fries and onion rings were unedible globs of grease. The gyros were o.k., but overall the ambience of filth,neglect and decay was so pervasive that it will likely disipate any appetite you walk in with. Inside the "restaurant" your senses are accosted with decrepit carpeting throughout the dining room, sticky vinyl booths, crooked, broken booths, and the self-serve soda fountain is broken and doesn't appear to have been operable for years. The food ranges from unedible to average, but truthfully this place needs to be demolished.
