I live nearby Jackie's and have always had positive experiences at this restaurant. The service is consistently exceptional, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. My favorite nights to visit are the all-you-can-eat fish fry on Fridays and liver night on Thursdays, although my wife and I enjoy dining there on other evenings as well.

We have been going to Jackie's for 20 years and have always had a great experience. I've seen a few rude customers but the staff has always been great. Food is very good.

What a terrible place to be in. Owners are very rude and disrespectful. The Waitresses work very hard and only get talked about behind their back. The Cook's there blame everything on the waitresses if things ain't right. Just sit and look around and watch the owners Point their fingers at the customers and talked about each and everyone that comes in to the restaurant. The restaurant is ran very poorly and all the blame is put on the waitresses who work very very hard for a low pay.

Excellent service and food. Have been out there several times. Highly recommend the liver and onions and friday fish.

Visit often. Dinners are great. Great pork chops. Love the toco salad. Service is good and friendly. A great family diner.

Up until our last visit at Jackie's we thought it was good. Well, on our way back from Columbus we had stopped for lunch (11:40). There was no silverware on any of the tables. There was a table of 6 people already seated and they were being served. We had our coffee poured and then 5 minutes later the waitress FINALLY brought us our silverware and cream. OK we then ordered our food. Normally the food would come out in about 10-15 minutes TOPS. We then decided to leave (12:05). I know it isn't a fast food restaurant but that was unacceptable. We told the waitress that we didn't want the food. She said that we would still have to pay and asked us if we wanted it to go. We said yes. We got home and I opened my container with the pancakes. I poured what I thought was pancake syrup on them but I smelled vinegar. Lo and behold the cook (Frank) had given me vinegar. My sister didn't get her order of bacon either. That was the LAST time we will EVER go to Jackie's! We've talked to a lot of people and they said that they won't go there either. Not because of the way we were served but because they don't like it and HAVEN'T liked for some time. JACKIE! You're loosing customers and if something isn't done to improve your service you better begin thinking about shuttering your business. It's dark and dingy and the dí©cor is old.
The waitress told us that Frank can put only so many pancakes on the 2 griddles. What does he do when there is a crowd, if there ever IS a crowd. We've been there on Sundays, with a crowd, and we've always been served promptly.

The sausage gravy and biscuits are fantastic. Everytime we come to Grand Haven from PA we have breakfast here
