I've been to Kyoto before and it was well-kept, but my recent visit was chaotic with stuff everywhere. The miso soup was okay and the sushi was good, but the atmosphere wasn't impressive. However, the military discount is a nice touch, and I might return if I'm in the area and craving sushi.
