If i was to tell ANYONE friend or foe, I would say avoid it. They charge extravagant prices, and try to make their menu sound almost upscale, but it is no good. I paid $15.97 or so for a ny strip steak with mushroom. it didn't look appetizing, and they only put about 5 or 6 mushrooms on top. I usually pay $13.97 and $14.97 at Theo's and Cracker Barrel for a steak and they are much better. They have wonderful flavor, and it didn't look almost burnt on top like at Long Branch. A friend ordered chicken parmesan and it was dry and there wasn't much sauce on top, and their kids had burgers and they were just a plain hamburger with cheese on top and nothing else, and they acted put out when my friend asked for them to take it back and put other things on it. Then the kids didn't even touch it (and their mother said they normally aren't picky and will eat anything) they said it didn't taste good. Our other friends had shrimp scampi and it wasn't any good and they totally skimped on the shrimp. The one said she has had shrimp scampi at one restaurant and even a Michaelangelo's frozen dinner shrimp scampi, and it had way more shrimp than at this restaurant. It all came to $72 no one finished theirs, and no one even wanted to take it home it was so bad. Needless to say ours went to the dogs at home, surprisingly they ate it though so it didn't go to waste. Never again will I eat here, like i said it seems like they're trying to push fine dining with their menu and pricing, but it tastes bland and burnt.
