Ate there the for the first time 4 days ago and they where awesome. Our son is autistic and doesn't eat but a couple things, and it was a big step for him to try it but he did and actually loves it ate four an half pieces(he's a toddler so it's impressive lol) next day at about 4 or 5 more. Unfortunately they where closed the last couple days so we where unable to get him more but tonight he will be the happiest kid in ohio. The owners daughter help me and was extremely nice and even gave me some history of how they got their start and did it happy. The old school feel of the energy and setting of the place briefly gives you that feel of the 60s! We highly recommend this place to any one new to the area like us or anyone one else who has never tried this amazing pie joint! Thank you Louis for being around and helping finally our don finally eat actual food not just a couple snack items. Oh and we loved the pizza as well lol amazing you guys are pizza 🍕 kings and Queens of the area uncrowded lol

Pretty good pizza! Liked the crust. It just lacked...a little something, but I don't know what. The crust seemed just sort of...plain, maybe, but it was tasty! Maybe more sauce?

I've lived here 4 years now, trying to try everybody's. But I'm partial to Pizza Cottage, like that mozzarella flavor on top that they use.

Anyway, WAY better than Creno's, better than Plaza Pizza (which I've tried to like, but don't), better than Carmen's, better than Don and Sue's, and don't get me started on any of the chain pizza places, I won't eat THOSE pizzas at all. So, it's pretty up there! I also like Massey's, and Christy's.

Unique taste, consistent, very clean shop, run by adults who have been doing it forever. Simply the best pizza you can get anywhere. Be aware, no dine in, no delivery and cash only. Yeah, to thrive all these years with a business model like that, you know the pizza has to be fantastic.

I have lived in Newark for 5 years now and have always had a hard time trying to find a pizza place that even comes close to my favorite from back home....took me 5 years to try Louie's Pizza and I sure wished I'd have tried it sooner! It tastes amazing!
