During my visit to the historic former jail turned restaurant, I enjoyed a variety of delicious dishes including a Cajun burger with jalapeños and onion rings, salmon suggested by the knowledgeable barmaid Rachel, and maple walnut walleye, all served with exceptional service from friendly staff like Carol, Sierra, and especially Linde, while soaking in the warm ambiance on the patio and exploring the bourbon bar and banquet rooms, making for a memorable dining experience that I look forward to repeating and trying the steakhouse next time.

We had a great time at the tavern, enjoying burgers, fries, onion rings, and potato skins on the patio. The ambiance was cozy with music in the background, and the service was spot on. I look forward to trying out the steakhouse next time and exploring more of the historic building.

used to be one of my favs place to eat. went there
sat 6/4/11. ordered mushroom onion burger and fries.
meat over cooked and dry. only had a few sliced mushrooms, instead of sauteed onions i got maybe 5 pieces of uncooked chopped onions. fries were cold.
never will i go again
