Grew up in this area and remember this place from my childhood. Use to order subs and watch "Chiller" theater late Fridays. This place is before Subway and other franchise sub shops and its still better than any of them. Get to it once awhile now, but never forget the flavors.

waited more than 30 minutes for a 6inch sub . It was way overcooked ,the bun was burned, and a 1 by 4 inch section of meat was burned black and hard and uneatable. the meat was not good .the parts of the bun in the middle was soaking in oil. It was not very busy and the cook spent more time in the backroom than preparing customers food properly. This was my 1st and last time at Susies sub shop.

I remember when the original owner opened Susie's Sub. He had just came back from Viet Nam and said he brought back the recipe's from a little shop that he either worked at or ate at a lot. Either way my daughter was practically raised on Susie Subs every time I get her one she says it taste like a part of her child hood. My brother in law searched the city for a good sub and I sent him to Susie's Sub and now he won't eat anything else.
