I visited with my son's preschool for a field trip, even though they're usually closed. The tour guide was really knowledgeable and fantastic with the kids, and we got to explore the historic trains and military cars. The outdoor area was perfect for a spring day, with plenty of seating and a pavilion for lunch. It would be great if they could open on Sundays and have a gift shop, but overall it was a fun and educational experience for the whole family.
