Biking around the island, I found a charming little shack offering warm, comforting foods like chili dogs, soft pretzels with hot cheese sauce, and the crispiest fried pickles, all enjoyed with friendly service and a view of the sparkling water. With plenty of picnic tables nestled by the shore and a nearby nature area with indoor bathrooms, it became the perfect restful pause to refuel and soak in the peaceful atmosphere before continuing the journey.
