El Faro in East Dundee is a solid choice for Mexican food that leans more towards authentic flavors than Americanized versions. Their cantaritos cocktails are a refreshing alternative to the usual margaritas, and the guacamole is definitely worth trying - it's got that good kick to it! The tacos are delicious, the service is quick, and the fajitas supreme are a must-try - I always end up with leftovers because the portions are so generous. It's become my favorite spot for Mexican food in the area!
