I used to hang out at this cool spot back in El Paso, next to Chicos' Tacos. My son's heading to Fort Bliss soon, so I checked to see if it's still around - wondering if Cathy Armedariz still owns it. I'll send him and his buddies to check it out when they arrive. It's a casual bar with a friendly bartender, Jennifer, who adds a bit of charm. Not fancy, but Bud Light is cheap at $2.25 a bottle. They allow smoking until the cops show up, then it's time to butt out. Some construction inside, but the owners say it'll be done soon. It's a laid-back bar with that classic bar vibe.
