I disagree with the other reviewer. I haven't been in a while, but when I went regularly Polos is good food, and the service was good every time I went. I grew up in San Antonio and feel like I know what good TexMex should taste like.

Polo's Chile Verde (pork) is very well done and the proportions are generous. The steak fajita quesadillas are also good. The salsa/hotsauce is not perfect but has decent spicyness and decent flavor. The tortillas are fresh and hot.

Polos was always my favorite place to eat in Ardmore because it gave me a little taste of home.

WORST MEXICAN FOOD in North America!!!‎ - ‎ -

I am relatively new to this area and love mexican food. I recently decided to try them out hoping for a good place close to home. I currently travel about 90 miles (Lawton) 1 way for good mexican and do not regret it.
Well, from my experience I will be continueing to travel! The service was lame, my lady had to chase down the waitress to order ~this was mid afternoon and no more then 12 people in the place.
They provided what I think was PIZZA SAUCE thinned out as a salsa and then had the nerve to let you know that if you did not order a meal you would be charged HIGHLY for that. Whatever it was, it was NOT MEXICAN in any fashion I have had.
When the food arrived I thought I was eating at a geriatric cafeteria. The food was SO BLAND and unappealing that my lady, my son, and I walked out without finishing it, in search of another mexican resturant in the area. We ultimately drove about 50 mile to Purcell to quench our hunger for tastey mexican food.
I would not recommend this place to anyone that knows anything about what REAL MEXICAN FOOD should taste like.
I wish there was a "NO STAR" rating that I could give them, that is what they truely deserve.
When they brag "best mexican food in the area" they must be limiting the area to their parking lot!!!!! Taco Bell is truely a better choice!
