I used to eat here almost every day in school because it was cheap and greasy, but the food has always been really good, especially the tacos and that fried flour tortilla taco. Even though it's about an hour away, my wife and I make the drive regularly from Arkansas because the friendly service, unbeatable prices, and nostalgic flavors keep us coming back for more.

I frequently dine at Taco Tico in Claremore, Oklahoma, as it offers delicious and affordable Tex-Mex food. Despite the slightly complex drive-thru setup, the service is always quick and friendly. The tacos and burritos are consistently tasty, making it worth the drive from Northwest Arkansas whenever I visit.

Claremore Tico"¦Good stuff. I am a Tico fan from childhood now in my 50s. I don't live close to them but anytime I am close to one, I go. Went to one in Topeka last Thursday. It was good to get a taste again. I was pleased, however, the store was not very slightly, certainly not updated. Mediocre but I was happy to have the experience again. THEN I went to the Taco Tico in Claremore 4 days later, and there was no comparison. Claremore was very clean and somewhat updated with the decorations, kind staff. The portions of meat and sauce on exactly what I had ordered in Topeka, taco burger and enchiladas, were WAY better. Loved it. The only knock I would have would be to update the bathroom. It was clean, just old looking and a bit run down. Great stop off of I-44 path was worthwhile. Given the choice between this and any of the other Ticos I have been to, I will always choose Claremore.

We use to have a taco tico in tulsa off of sheridan, ate at the one in claremore and it was like a blast from the past!!! All of the food was fresh, flour tortilla was nice and warm, Fantastic!
