The food here is truly authentic Mexican cuisine with generous portions and bold flavors, from the chicken gorditas to the beef fajita burrito, all served in a clean and welcoming environment. The staff are polite and attentive, creating a friendly atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable, whether you're dining in or taking food to go.

The food here is incredibly authentic, with no trace of Tex-Mex in sight, and the service is consistently good. I ordered the chicken gorditas and was amazed by the generous portion and delicious flavor, making it some of the best Mexican cuisine I've encountered. If you're in Clinton, you'll definitely want to check out the tacos and sopes; everything is worth trying!

WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD! Served on a paper plate. Corn tortillas were microwaved from a frozen state, mushy, separated and fell apart in our hands and had no flavor. Beans and rice were mushy had no flavor. Cold in the center and tasted like left over days old food that had been microwaved. Tea was definitely left over and tasted terrible. "Salsa" looked and tasted like tomato soup with Tabasco sauce in it...terrible! I tried to be a trooper, but after the first two bites of my taco, I started getting nauseated and could not finish...meat was not identifiable to me, had no flavor and was large chunks of something tough with a lot of gristle and membrane. I tried the rice and beans but they were equally bad. I left two of the three tacos untouched and all but one spoonful of rice and beans untouched. Three sips of tea and left the rest. My husband's meal was equally bad, maybe worse. Mexican food is our favorite and we have dined at many Mexican restaurants. Our favorite is a restaurant near where we live that serves authentic Mexican food. I have never given any restaurant a bad review, but this was terrible! It was days old terrible food that had been microwaved. We left this place feeling traumatized, nauseated and violated. We walked out feeling like we had been to the Twilight Zone. We both felt like we needed a couple stiff drinks and we do not drink! We will never return!

Awesome food!!! I love their five dollar burrito w some green salsa!!! I love this resturant its not commercialized like the other mexican cafes in the area. If I had a mexican grandma I imagine this is the kind of food she would cook for me if I could order it. I cant get enough of it. Everytime my wife and I are in the clinton area
I make it a point to stop in and get a filling meal from there. My wife loves the gorditas and the chips and salsa. Even if we are getting it to go she'll still get the chips and salsa. Like I said it is a small lil place but the food makes your taste buds leap for joy and twirl in ecstacy as the flavors pour over your palate. . .just try it.
