I was thrilled to discover this sushi restaurant with its incredibly fresh fish and delicious flavors. The couple running it creates a warm atmosphere, and their menu offers generous portions at reasonable prices. Having dined here for over 20 years, I can confidently say the quality has always been exceptional, making it my favorite sushi destination in Oklahoma City.

I have been eating here for maybe 15 years. I travel all over the USA, and I have eaten at excellent sushi restaurants. Most sushi places are mediocre. This place is as
good as the best high-end places I have eaten. I also think it happens to the best in the OKC area. I have not eaten at any walk-in restaurant since COVID-19 hit. The last time I was there, they decreased the size of there rolls to about the size of the large Tootsie Roll bar. As I recall, they may have been sold for the same price. I had planned on not returning, but lately I have been thinking about getting take-out from them if they have gone back to the regular portion size. I don't mind paying a little more. Reviews from other web sites complain about the owners wife being rude. I think her problem is more of a cultural problem. I have seen the same behaviors in other restaurants operated by Asian immigrants. I don't think she means to be rude. I do not find her rude, but she does inappropriately say what she thinks sometimes; especially if she thinks large parties are under tipping (and they probably are) or if she thinks coustomers are taking too long to eat on a busy night. The food quality outweighs any problems with her.

BEST rolls in Oklahoma City. The last time my husband and I were there we over heard a guy and his girlfriend say that they drive all the way from Yukon to have sushi @ Sushi Hyashi.
The rolls are big and fresh and great every time.
