Founders Brewing in Grand Rapids consistently offers excellent beer with a smooth oat stout and a welcoming atmosphere, including a large outdoor seating area perfect for warmer days. While the beer and service are impressive, I feel some of the older food menu items, like the smoked pastrami and Reds Rye sandwich, would be welcome additions again to complement the experience.

Went there after work for a drink with friends. Order some grilled chicken and a drink. The chicken came out luke warm is not colder. I kindly notified my server, who was very courteous and helpful, and she took it back. It came back in about 5 minutes and I'm assuming it was the same chicken just moved around and barely warmer than before. "Chef mike" seemed to be manning the kitchen tonight. Drinks are great but the food was Taco Bell quality at best. Won't be coming back.
