Tommy's is the spot now. Good drinks, decent food, and sports on the TV. It can take a bit to get served, but it's a cool place to catch a game. Grand Isle was hit hard by Hurricane Isa, but we found Artie's open for lunch. Operating off a generator, cash only, limited menu, but the service was spot on and the food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for mingling over a drink with locals and adventurers. A solid bar spot at the "end of the world" in southern Louisiana. Music is great, clients loved it, but some employees had bad attitudes. Sweet potato fries are a must with the decently priced drinks. Always an amazing time at Artie's with great servers and Cajun hospitality. The seafood platter is fantastic, and the soft shell crab is a hit. Love the atmosphere, friendly people, and strong drinks at Artie's. Great local seafood, especially the grilled shrimp pulled from the Gulf that day. Artie shares his family history and island's story, making it a unique experience. Local seafood, culture, and fun all in one place. A great spot for burgers and other food, with fantastic service and the ability to accommodate large groups. Bartender was friendly and the spot seemed like a local favorite with a decent liquor selection. No complaints here!
