The dagwood was my god. All my pregnancy's i had to have them. Then they closed. I remember every item and made it myself and it was good. The only thing was I had unseeded bread. I'll be selling them soon.

I remember walking the 3 blocks to order the cheese steak when I was 10. That was 25 years ago. Best sandwich shop in town!

The best subs in the Midwest the Dagwood my baby mother I was all Ricki lake with loved the pizza sub the sloppiest best subs ever I wish I had the recipe somebody bring it back now that's midtown throwback

These were the best subs in Milwaukee. The Dagwood was their best!
If the owner is still around, he should try it again or sell his knowledge. Suburpia came back and are doing well.

Man, in the 80's and 90's this place had the best subs. Across the street from Capitol Foods with the cold 40 oz.
