Growing up in this area, I remember when Jitney Jungle was the go-to grocery store, a true staple in the Petal community. Over the years, as larger chains took over, Corner Market has managed to maintain its small-town charm with a well-stocked meat market, seafood section, and extensive produce offerings. While prices may be slightly higher and the parking lot a bit tricky, the personalized service and familiar layout make it a comforting reminder of simpler times amidst the ever-changing retail landscape.
