During a recent visit to Raleigh for a tradeshow, I strolled over from the Marriott for a delicious lunch at Shish Kabob, where the Greek salad with chicken medallions was a standout choice. Although the meat could have been juicier, the fresh toppings and generous portions made for a satisfying meal, and the outdoor seating added to the pleasant dining experience.

We've eaten Lebanese food all over the world, but Shish Kabob remains one of our favorites, simply because the food really is Lebanese food. We can get the kind of pickles we like, they'll put French fries in our sandwiches, and the hommous isn't ruined by extra ingredients. It's value priced, too - perfect place for a fast meal or take out.

Shish Kabob has the best tabbouli anywhere in the Triangle - it tastes just like your Siti made it. All of their food is wonderful - fresh and delicious. Nice folks, too. They always customize our shawarma for us.

We live out of town, but when we go to Raleigh, we always make a point to eat at Shish Kabob. They have the best Lebanese food that we know of - even better than most of the sit down restaurants we've tried. Love their lamb kabobs and their salads!

I was visiting from Baltimore, Maryland and was lucky enough to purchase lunch on Sat. April 6. I ordered the veggie platter and it was more than delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The falafel transported me back to Egypt where I had them for the first time.

If I ever get back to Raleigh, you will be my first stop. Thank you so much
