You should definitely try the best authentic pan dulce in town, made by a family-owned bakery with occasionally varied hours, particularly during the summer season. Whenever my family from Visalia, LA, and Salinas visits, they always insist on stopping by for the delicious bread. To ensure a wider selection, it's advisable to arrive early as the bread sells out quickly, especially the more affordable classics like Conchas, cuernitos, and elotes. For larger orders, consider calling ahead a couple of days in advance to secure your desired quantity. Despite the occasional fluctuations in availability and hours, the quality of the bread makes it worth the visit. Remember to plan accordingly and avoid arriving right before closing time, and be prepared to pay with either cash or card.
