Big Jim's serves some of the best burgers I've ever tasted, with perfectly cooked patties and all the fixings that remind me of homemade goodness. The shakes, fries, and sides like clam baskets and tots are equally delicious, and the friendly staff always make you feel welcome like family. The classic 50's diner vibe, clean environment, and quick service make it a fantastic stop when cruising through The Dalles or the Columbia Gorge area.

Excellent place to eat. Clean, friendly and fast. Menu is huge with lots of variety and great ice cream. I also like to support the local business owner , a " non-chain". Give it a try, you won't want to go anywhere else but Big Jims
