I had a wonderful experience at Big Mountain Pizza with my mother, enjoying comforting dishes that truly satisfied our cravings. The Wolf Mountain pizza, with its crispy thin crust loaded with all our favorite toppings, was a highlight, along with the meaty buffalo wings and flavorful potato skins. The staff was friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable, and I appreciated their integrity when I left my purse behind, only to find it safe and sound the next day.

With the exception of a Figaro's franchise, Big Mountain Pizza is pretty much the only pizza place in town. Because of that, I have really, really tried to like it. Really, I have. But, the cheese is a strange mix that includes what appears to be cheddar. I mean, seriously...pizza is an Italian dish. Who puts cheddar cheese on a pizza? I guess the white stuff is mozzarella. But where's the parmegiano/reggiano/romano cheese? The tomato sauce is so thin as to be barely there. The pizzas from Big Mountain have none of that delicious garlic, oregano, tomato flavor that one should enjoy in a pizza. I've tried to like their pizzas, but all I taste is salt. But, if your idea of a good pizza is basically salty cheesebread, then go for it.
