During a sturgeon fishing trip with friends, I wandered into this classic diner and was quickly welcomed like a local despite a lukewarm initial greeting. The hand-cut steaks, smoked meats, and fresh breakfast offerings impressed me so much that I returned the next morning, enjoying everything from the homemade salad dressings to the outstanding apple and huckleberry pies. The friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and generous portions made for a memorable dining experience that I look forward to repeating.

During a recent sturgeon fishing trip, I discovered an incredible restaurant that quickly made me feel like a local. The food, including the smoked chicken and homemade pies, was outstanding, and the friendly staff went above and beyond, even mailing my grandson's forgotten sunglasses back to us.

Wow!!!! What a great place. We re - visited after 25 years. Great service, fantastic Dinners, great service. Even Jeff the cook came out to ask us how the food was. Highly recommend. Make reservations on the weekends very busy but the service was still excellent. Good job!!!! Had a great time

The BLT I ordered was more like a kids sandwich and I payed good money for that and I'm NEVER GOING THE AFAIK
