I have been a customer at Casa Baez previously Los Baez for over 40 years. It's a shame that the food has consistently went down hill since the change. I was so disappointed in my meal today that I won't be returning. The salsa which I have always loved tasted like it had been frozen and thawed the refried beans tasted like they came from a can. Just sad

My husband and I started going to this restaurant when it was a tiny little place on commercial Street. It was our favorite date night place, And it was fantastic. That was in 1975. All these years later, still my favorite restaurant. Was so happy when Hector opened the restaurant on Lancaster, closer to home. The food is fantastic, and after this many years we've pretty much had everything on the menu. The staff is always friendly, Hector is a great example of an owner and how to run a restaurant. Fantastic salsa!
