Kobe in Ashland, Oregon, completely blew me away with their exceptional offerings. The Kobe Drop cocktail and Floral Old Fashioned were like a delicious dance party in my mouth! The sushi selections, including the Dynamite and Yakuza rolls, were absolute showstoppers, each bite bursting with flavor and creativity. If you're looking for a culinary experience that hits all the right notes, Kobe is the place to be.

Mediocre at best. You can tell frim the moment you walk in that the owner - who should be present, especially in a sushi bar- is AWOL. Ashland is a tourist town, and this is tourist food, just like every other restaurant in town. The locals who show up don't have a clue either, or they wouldn't be showing up. My last effort to let them redeem themselves. Adios, MF.

*DO walk across the street and treat yourself to an exquisite pastry and the best coffee in town at Mix Bakery (right on the corner of The Plaza). Jamie North knows her s***, and maintains a ridiculously high level of quality. A rare gem in a town of embarrassingly bad food.
