Every visit to Jax feels like stepping into a cozy, historic diner built from a railroad car, where the friendly staff and comforting atmosphere instantly warm you up after a snowy morning. The generous portions-from the spicy Bloody Mary to the cheesy macaroni and decadent beignets-never fail to satisfy, and the quick, attentive service makes each meal a pleasure. Watching the train roll by outside the window adds a charming touch to a memorable breakfast experience that keeps drawing me back whenever I'm in Truckee.
