While traveling through Ennis, I stopped at a bakery inside a Chevron gas station and found their kolaches to be fresh, flavorful, and made with soft, slightly sweet dough. The selection included both traditional and modern flavors, such as jalapeño sausage, ham and cheese, and a variety of fruit-filled options, with the cream cheese varieties standing out as particularly delicious. The bakery also offers cinnamon rolls, bundt cakes, and coffee, and the convenient drive-thru makes it easy to grab breakfast or snacks on the go.
