Can't tell you how great it was collecting the eggs from under the hens with the owner, on the $25 Farm Animal Tour, and then bringing them into the Organic Green Farm Café, where we used them to make home made waffles. The kids thought it was great....and they made the waffles, and served it to the parents. What a wonderful hands on experience for the kids, who then sat down and ate their fill.
We loved the #25 animal tour which lasted over an hour, and the one on one contact with the owner who prepared the meal for us. Highly recommend but if you want to collect the eggs, wear your boots and if you want a baby goat to climb on your lap, don't wear shorts...they hooves are hard.

Don't get customers by FALSE advertising. If your sign says FREE TODAY, it means FREE today. People make mistakes but the one made by the owner, Mrs. Moore, today was that the customer ( well now never a customer) is always right, so is the laws for advertising. As a long time culinary specialist and teacher, I would have handled this situation so much differently. First of all, I would have apologized, instead of argue. and would have offered something to appease them, such as " I am sorry that was from Halloween, I would let you have one book, for bringing this to my attention, but they are a dollar a piece (way too much for most of them)". They were not in good shape- obvious they had been out in the weather. Good luck, the so called organic sandwich I had once, complete with egg shells, was probably the warning I should have not bothered to stop. You would have had another chance at making up for the first lousy sandwich. Lost another one.

Ate there in May and there were dirty chickens in a box. Will not return.

It's not the typical "cafe" because everything you eat is not only delicious, but good for you. They grow all their produce, herbs, can relishes and jams, and serve their farm raised Organic Beef,Pork, and eggs....all raised on the farm next door and across the street. The eggs are bright yellow an yolks are so high because they are so fresh. If you let the cook know, she will let you go out Ianthe chicken yard and pick your own eggs.609-871-9555 reservations are needed to meet
