Winston's East Opera House has that classic neighborhood bar vibe with friendly bartenders, strong drinks, and plenty of free pool tables and dart boards to keep you entertained. The covered outdoor patio is perfect for smokers, and the cozy, eclectic decor-complete with animal pelts and vintage concert posters-makes you feel right at home. Parking can be tight up front, but there's a bigger lot around back, and for just a buck, you get membership access to this welcoming spot where everyone from Wake Forest students to longtime locals mix and mingle.

Located in the West End neighborhood, this bar offers a cozy atmosphere with a variety of entertainment options such as dart stations and pool tables. Despite not accepting American Express, the bar boasts a relaxed decor and friendly bartenders that make patrons feel right at home.
