Stepping inside this bakery is like being transported back to my childhood, where the smell of fresh-baked Italian Vienna bread mingles with laughter around the dinner table. The crust is perfectly golden and crunchy, while the inside remains light and airy-ideal for everything from salami sandwiches to a buttery toast that makes me forget about dinner altogether. With quirky hours and a cash-only policy, it's a treasure trove of deliciousness that demands quick consumption before the bread turns stale, but trust me, every bite is worth it!

The bakery I love sells out of their fresh Italian unsliced bread early, and they also offer sliced bread. I've been enjoying their bread for years, especially the white variety, which has a wonderful taste, and it makes excellent toast. Today, I visited the grand reopening of the bakery under new owners, Dave and Amy Forgach, and I indulged in Hungarian Rye, Marble bread, turnovers, pepperoni rolls, and oatmeal raisin cookies - everything was outstanding.
