My son & daughter-in-law treated me & her mother to dinner here, & I thought it was a great place to eat. It is small, cozy, so nice with tablecloths on the tables (such a nice touch in a restaurant), very good, attentive service but not intrusive, and our dinners were delicious. I recommend Davani’s for a special meal (without any kids!).

Honestly, I l am incredibly embarrassed and disappointed by the level of disservice from my most recent server and the owner of this restaurant. Mind you, I am visually impaired so I cannot drive and happened to lose my state ID which is why I brought my passport. After being sat, my boyfriend was carded first and then I was carded and she skimmed my passport for 30 seconds to tell me that my passport was expired. Then she tells the owner that and then proceeds to tell us that the owner wanted our waitress to check my boyfriend’s drivers’ license again. By that point we are both mortified and made the decision to exit the restaurant. While I am in the car on the way to find somewhere to eat dinner and I double check and MY PASSPORT EXPIRES IN 2027. On top of that, my boyfriend and I are both 25 and 26 years old well over the drinking age. Not only do I want to address that this is harassment, but they have lost several customers because I will never go back or speak highly of this restaurant to anyone again. I celebrated my 26th birthday there and several dinners since then and have never had an issue up to this point. My biggest piece of advice to the owner 1) train your wait staff on how to properly check all forms of identification 2) be courteous enough to address situations directly with your customers.
