my husband & I have been to Francesca's 5 or 6 times, never had a bad meal! Service is always very good & friendly! Nice to be able to dine on the deck in warmer weather, food is made fresh for every meal so don't be in a rush, enjoy the homemade bread, fresh salad, great appetizers, I really like the stuff mushroom, don't forget the samples! Main courses are wonderful, from pasta, steaks or seafood, always GREAT Nice wine selection!Chef always checks with you to make sure you are happy! Give them a try, you will be glad you did! We have been to Francesca's twice and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of their food. They even bring out samples of appetizers that they are "playing with" to get comments. Service is excellent; Kennebec River view seats and deck seating (in summer) is wonderful. We recommend it!

It was an hour drive to get to Francesca's and when we finally got there the food was HORRIBLE! My husband loves lasagna and he stated that Stoufer's frozen lasagna was better than Francesca's lasagna. He ate not even a quarter of the dish. I ordered the chicken parm which was small, bland, not breaded and topped with chopped tomatoes and onions and burnt cheese. We don't often have a sitter and I am SO sad we wasted our time here. When the chef came over she said noone complains about the lasagna (which must be a lie) and walked off without offering to comp the meal, offer a free dessert or complimentary night cap. The food was HORRIBLE and the customer service made us NEVER want to go back again!! I would not recommend this $20/plate, $19/drink restaraunt to anyone ever!

My family and I go here all the time! The food is OUTSTANDING! This restaurant is a slice of a high-end restaurant you would find in Boston. I Love the fresh ingredients, there awesome specialty drinks & great service! You and your friends & family will love this place!

- Francesca's is brand new and great...the atmosphere is cozy. The waitstaff was fast, freindly, and thorough but the best thing about this place is the food...HOLY COW....the Italian antipasto and the pasta were heavenly...then, the swordfish was mouth watering and then we split three desserts....worth every calorie. The chef is named Francesca she came out and greeted us and told us about her special dishes...very friendly....I will eat at Francesca's again and again and I have recommended it to several friends!!! Loved it!!!

Service was...OK. Food however was horrible! Went with a friend and both or our dishes were undercooked and just...ewww.... Will never eat there again! Advise you to do the same, unless you are trying to lose weight, then this is the place to go!

Poor service, worse food, Went around the corner after dinner to The Thai place because we were all still hungry!
