Saturday marked the grand opening of the 2019 LS Farmers Market, set against a backdrop of perfect weather and bustling activity. The early season meant limited produce, but a bounty of plants and other locally sourced goods were available for purchase. What stood out to me most was the diverse array of products from genuine local farmers, showcasing the community's dedication to supporting small-scale agriculture.
