I checked out Trident at Plaza Palomino before a benefit concert for the Gospel Rescuer Mission, and I was surprised by how cool the courtyard was, especially with Russell Long's Rillito River Band playing. The plaza has some neat local shops and restaurants, but it's clear it's been through some ups and downs, with a mix of busy spots and a few empty storefronts.
