There's this cool farmer's market downtown in Wauconda with lots of vendors selling all sorts of goodies like fresh produce, meats, sweets, and crafts. It's right in the middle of the shopping area, so you can check out the market and shop around the local stores with sidewalk sales too. I just picked up some fruits and veggies today, but I can't wait to go back when it's not so hot and explore more of what they have to offer!
