Ardito's deli in Mineola serves up a delicious Meatball Parm Hero that's a foot long, with just the right amount of sauce and cheese to complement the flavorful meatballs. The sauce is reminiscent of the homemade lasagna sauce I used to enjoy growing up, which makes me eager to try more items from their menu, like the eggplant and chicken parm heroes. Though they only have a catering menu available, the quality of the food and the friendly service make it worth a visit for a taste of authentic Italian flavors.
