If you're on the hunt for delicious poboys, look here. The roast beef, with just the right amount of gravy and mayo, was fantastic. My son loved the shrimp poboy, and my husband raved about the cheeseburger. Great food and service in a friendly atmosphere!

No better chicken salad, finger sandwiches, hot sausage, poor boys and plate specials in the New Orleans area, not just Chalmette. Been there a VERY long time and there's a reason for just that.

Cheese Burgers on french are off the chain, best in town.
Shrimp on french, "Where's the Shrimp!!!" don't waist your money.
Food tastes good though.

Everything I've eaten from Jeanfreau's for years has been delicious! Chicken salad is a weekly purchase for lunches. Stuffed chicken and stuffed pork chops are incredible. The Po boys are great for lunch. Order by phone before you pick up from the restaurant side. Veal cutlets cook quickly. Two thumbs up!
