For years this store has set the Dallas gold standard for tamales. As with lots of old time traditional businesses, either time or money has affected this one. Front staff not as helpful, and the quality of the tamales is not the same. After two visits, one close to a holiday, one during the middle of the week, both experiences were disappointing.

We have been going there for a long time BUT we will no longer be going there at ALL. They been charging 3% extra for your order IF you use a debt or credit card. We were older adults. There are other reasons why we are not going. Unsanitize .

Excellent tamales. Love the chicken and pork. Beef are good too. always excellent.
