Driving from The Natural Bridge to Cullman, we paused here and were immediately captivated by the warm, attentive service and generous portions that felt like a comforting embrace. The flavors-from the perfectly cooked fried catfish and crispy sweet potato fries to the unforgettable Mexican cheesecake-lingered long after the meal, making the serene lakeside setting feel like a hidden sanctuary for anyone craving genuine, heartfelt cuisine.

Stopped by this place on the way to Cullman from The Natural Bridge and the food was spot on. The portions were just right, maybe even a tad extra. Our server, Cricket (or something close to that), was awesome - so friendly and on top of everything. My parents enjoyed the prime rib special, my husband raved about the catfish, and my shrimp basket was cooked to perfection. The sweet potato fries were crispy and delicious. We'll definitely be back for more of this great food and service!

Wife and I ate at chef troys on one occasion, my wife went back as a guest a second time. Both times our food was very under seasoned, cooked poorly and generally bad. Little to no flavor, food was served very sloppily at very unpleasant to the eyes; further, the prices for the quality are very high! I understand this "restaurant" is coming to Double Springs soon. We will not darken it's doorstep. And I recommend to "Chef Troy" go to a cooking s hook and learn flavor, textures and seasoning plus playing.

Best food anywhere in the middle of nowhere. Every time we go, they never disappoint. Whether it's breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is always awesome. Definitely worth the trip

Should be on Diners, Drive Inn's and Dives. Great food with a very diverse menu. Many items available that are not listed on the menu, ask Chef Troy. Food from basic country cooking to very upscale food you would find in New York or San Francisco all at reasonable prices. This is a jewel in the middle of nowhere. Don't miss it.
