Since first going to Interstate Hoagies in early 2013 I was hooked! Although the restaurant is about 30 minutes away from my side of town, my fiancé is a Philly native and we both agreed it was THE CLOSEST to the real thing so it was worth the drive... Over the year the quality has gone down tremendously and the worst part of all is the customer interaction both over the phone and in person. The last straw for me was this past Saturday, 03/01/14... I decided to drive from two notch road to Irmo just to get a cheesesteak when I called and was left on hold for over 5 minutes by the "manager" who has NO customer service skills at all! Since I've referred over 20 people and have myself been to interstate hoagies over 10 times in a year,I asked to speak to the owner whom I've spoke to on SEVERAL occasions to let her know about the contestant "I could care less attitude " from the so called manager and only girl who is ever at the front counter.. I was informed by the owner she had orders backed up and Basically if I wasn't placing an order I was wasting her time! A loyal customer..treated like an inconvenience when I try to make the owner aware that the one she has answering the phone is going to cost her a lot if business! Nevermind the fact they are always out of supplies whether its cheese, fries, water ice & even receipt paper! I USED to love this place.. But honestly if your business isn't appreciated its not worth it. Sad to say I will probably never go again but good luck!
