Please do not go to Crabcake factory for brunch the food wasn't ready when they open the food was horrible they make you pay 18 percent for bad service the price doesn't match the food or service so please pick another place.

Going Downhill Fast...
Sadly, I must update my 5☆ from opening day to 1☆. Given that we have visited 5 times, being disappointed with each experience.

It's absolutely horrible. Service is still very slow. However, now the food was terrible. We started off with the crab dip. It was all cheese and tons of butter. We only saw one time piece of crab. We ordered a surf and turf with a lobster tail. It came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. They were out of ribeye, so we settled for the strip. The steak was cold and not cooker to the temperature we requested. The lobster tail was burnt and rubbery. The mashed potatoes were grayish/brown and cold and had the most terrible sour taste. The veggies were also cold, salty, and limp. For a $35 steak and $45 lobster tail (4-5oz)... I expect everything to be edible. That's right, $80 for a surf and turf. We also ordered the crabcake entree. WOW, what a difference from opening day. Where did the lump crabmeat go? They were full of filler and some odd spices, drowning in some sauce. So disappointing. Again, the potatoes a few veggies were awful and not edible. When placing our order, we asked for a salad as a side instead. We were told they couldn't do that, although the table beside us did. Guess that depends on the server.

For $134 before tax for 2 entrees and 1 appetizer, we expect a fresh meal with quality ingredients and great service. We have no problem paying for a good meal. Not for this crap we were served here.

Visits 2, 3, and 4 were for the Sunday buffet. Each time was worse. The food selection changed, not for the better. Visits 3 and 4 we never saw crabcakes, and most of the stra.ers were constantly empty. They only had the omelet bar on our first visit. The carving station was either abandoned or had one small piece of meat available.

Unfortunately, we are back on the search for good seafood, especially Maryland style crabcakes.

I would no longer suggest wasting your time or money at this establishment.

My party of 4 waited an hour to be seated and the restaurant wasn't even packed. Short staffing we assumed?
When seated, we waited 15 minutes to place our order. 45 minutes later, still no food. Waitress came back and told us the chef said 10 more minutes...this then turned into 25 minutes.
During that wait, we were told our food was ready but they ran out of mashed potatoes and we could wait another 30 mins if we still wanted potatoes or we could select yellow rice or dirty rice as a substitute. When our meals were finally served (more than an hour after ordering) we received dirty rice not yellow rice and our meals were warm as if they had been sitting a while.
The food was bland with little seasoning. Crab cakes were awful tasting and with the name being Crabcake Factory you'd assume this would be the one item on point.
Service was terrible, we witnessed 2 other parties just get up and leave. We had to get up to find our waitress for our check.
Finally, after 3 hours from the time we checked in, we left highly disappointed...PLEASE DO NOT waste your time or money on this overpriced spot!

It was a Birthday celebration. The food was good. But, the waiter was rude and loud when he. was asked questions. Some of the party food was served late, after the others . We. drove a distance to come to this restaurant ,

The service was terrible. Waited an hour for chicken tender kids meal and the restaurant was empty. A rude staff member tried to justify an hour delay for a chicken tender kids meal was due to us ordering the food late"¦while we observed many staff members hanging out around the bar conversing and the bartender struggling to make an apple martini.
