My Italian friend and I recently dropped by to give Bella Luna restaurant a try. We started with their salads and the antipasti dish with some wine. We were very pleased with the dishes' Italian authenticity. Next the server recommended their latest addition to their menu: aglio e olio. The sauce has a perfect spicy-balance of garlic, olive oil and pepper flakes. It was by far one of the best I've ever had. My date tried their classic lasagna which she really liked. The service was really good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We were really impressed with the restaurant's atmosphere and dining experience. We will be back.

The first time I ate at the restaurant, after it first opened, I was very impressed with the food. You could tell by the space - set up that this was a new restaurant, such as decor not fully developed, etc...but none of that really matters when the food is amazing. Well, I went back approximately 2 weeks ago, I dont know what happened!!! The food was horrible this time, the service was horrible. There was a young lady walking around who appeared to maybe be the FOH manager, but she never spoke to us and seemed to be wondering around aimlessly. I heard from another restaurant on the square that they had lost a really great chef that was there when the restaurant opened, which i guess explains the bad food...but what about the service? Don't wast your money or time!
