A simple request was declined by a man who identified himself as the owner. Even though I had ordered it the same exact way at least 4x times in the past without incident. Then one day, the owner says his restaurant had never served it that way, that I was mistaken, & if I wanted it that way, I could go elsewhere. The same waiter I had for all the other times, including this last time, agreed with me. Said he couldn’t believe his boss. If a restaurant can’t accommodate a simple request then where is the customer service? It’s not like I was asking him to serve something not on the menu, or serve it in an unsafe manner. Want to know what the request was? It was to please cut the sushi in half…you know, so the pieces would be easier to eat instead of a big ol’ piece. WTH?! Guess I’ll be taking my $$$ elsewhere
